Tools specialists in Sherbrooke for over 50 years
In 1965, Mr. Denis Meunier, from Belœil, decides to come to Sherbrooke. In collaboration with Mr. Armant Mongeau, they established and developed his tooling company who had until then not fixed a sales point.
Indeed, at this point the inventory of tools for the mechanic’s was stored in a truck that would go from one garage to another. In 1990, Mr. Meunier acquirer’s the building of the 875 King Ouest, where the business has been located on the street for now over 20 years.
A provider of choice for the tooling industry
In 1995, Denis Meunier industrial tooling decides to expand his market shares to become a provider for the industrial sector (manufacturing, machining, health and security, lifting equipment, etc.). This addition becomes the new branch in which it will improve on the company that’s specialized in this domain over the years.
In 1997, Denis Meunier decides to retire and pass on to his son Francis Meunier who was already working by his side for many years now. This last, in collaboration with Mr. Reynald Moreau and Mr. Alain Legendre, works with rigor and dedication in order to continue the growth of the family business.
A new challenge of growth for 2017
Fall 2016, a change of shareholders causes a wave of renewal. Mr. Sylvain Nadeau and Mr. Yanick Caron buy the shares of Mr. Moreau and Mr. Legendre and initiate efforts to develop the reputation of the company and to consolidate its position as a leader in the field of industrial equipment’s.
At the beginning 2017, Tooling center Denis Meunier becomes Meunier industrial tooling and the company developed a signature graphic modernized and a positioning statement (" the inventory to your service"). The first web site of the company is also created in order to facilitate the research of clients and to be able to offer them assistance that is always more effective.
Finally, Meunier industrial tooling announces in March 2017 its move to new premises where it’ll be very capacious and adapted to its clientele, which will be located in the industrial sector of Sherbrooke. This allows the business to move closer to its clients and aim to firmly establish the position of the company as a supplier of industrial and commercial equipment of first plan.
